Albuquerque, NM, July 14th, 2026 – Indica Labs, the world’s leading provider of AI-powered digital pathology solutions, today announced a new software release designed to streamline and scale digital pathology workflows through enhanced automation, collaboration, and system transparency.

“Clinical laboratories need digital pathology systems that can adapt to the way their teams actually work,” said Hallie Rane, Product Manager of Clinical Applications. “By combining intelligent automation, streamlined collaboration, and stronger traceability, this release helps organizations reduce manual effort while supporting more consistent, coordinated case review.”

At the center of the update is Lab Logic, a powerful workflow design toolkit that allows laboratories to configure HALO AP® around the way they work. Leveraging AI-driven triggers, intelligent routing and automated post-analysis actions, Lab Logic transforms manual processes into scalable, automated workflows. The result is greater efficiency, faster digital adoption, and a platform that adapts to each lab’s operational needs.

The release also introduces a refined flow experience with step-level tracking and audit trails, strengthening traceability, transparency, and regulatory readiness. Additionally, new smart slide lists enable dynamic organization of slides by key criteria, improving data visibility and reducing manual workload across teams and sites.

A redesigned Tumor Board, version 2.0, enhances multidisciplinary collaboration with tools for scheduling, case organization, real-time slide additions, and discussion capture, ensuring efficient, coordinated patient case review.

From a systems perspective, new monitoring and configuration tools provide greater transparency into infrastructure and software performance, while updates to system settings reduce reliance on backend support. Expanded data export options, multi-specimen case support, and secondary assignment workflows further enhance flexibility and collaboration, enabling structured multi-reviewer processes with automated notifications.
