The integration connects Voicebrook’s VoiceOver PRO reporting workflow to the Indica Labs HALO AP® platform, giving pathologists hands-free control of digital slide review while allowing HALO Clinical AI-generated biomarker results to flow automatically into the appropriate CAP cancer protocol checklist.

For pathologists working biomarker-driven cases, the result is a single reporting workflow: slides are navigated by voice, the right checklist appears on its own, the quantitative results are already in place, and the pathologist’s attention stays on interpretation rather than data entry.

The Problem the Integration Solves

Image analysis has made biomarker quantification faster and more reproducible, but it has not made reporting faster. In most laboratories, a pathologist still has to leave the reporting environment, locate individual results in the image analysis system, read off each value, and re-key them into the CAP checklist — for every marker, on every case. Each hop between systems costs time and introduces the possibility of a transcription error in a field that carries real clinical weight.

What the Integration Delivers

• Speech-Enabled Command and Control: Hands-free navigation of cases and digital slides in HALO AP®, including zoom, pan, annotation, and tab switching, reduces clicks and keeps pathologists focused on the case rather than the interface. Pathologists can also order assays by voice (additional stains, AI analyses, and supplemental reports) without leaving the case to work in another system. 
• Automatic CAP Checklist Selection: Tags on the grossing template identify the case type and drive insertion of the correct CAP cancer protocol checklist — the breast biomarker checklist for a breast case, and so on — so the pathologist is not selecting or searching for the right protocol.
• Automated AI Biomarker Result Capture: A single command retrieves HALO Clinical AI-generated biomarker results and maps them to their corresponding CAP checklist fields, populating ER and PR percentages, interpretations, and other quantitative markers exactly as the analysis reported them. The integration also checks off which tests were performed based on the results it finds, keeping the completed checklist consistent with the work actually done on the case.
• Flexible Reporting Path: For sites that prefer to report directly in HALO AP®, Voicebrook supports passing that result through to the LIS, so the integration fits either reporting model.
• A Closed Loop from Order to Result: Because assays are ordered by voice and their results return to the CAP checklist automatically, the round trip from question to documented answer happens without the pathologist leaving the case. Fewer hops between systems improve efficiency and help maintain accuracy and consistency throughout the digital case.
