Announcing the launch of a new Microglial Activation module for fluorescence and an updated brightfield module

We are excited to announce the launch of a new Microglial Activation module for fluorescence (FL) images and an updated brightfield (BF) module! In this blog post, you can learn about some of the new features in these modules, where to find the user guides, and when to expect to upgrade.

WHAT NEW FEATURES ARE INCLUDED?

The BF module includes the following new features:

    • Summary results divided into activated and inactivated microglia counts
    • Maximum cell body size parameter
    • Branch point and end point counts
    • Interactive markup image output option

The FL module performs microglial detection from immunofluorescence images and includes the same features and parameters as listed for the BF module. Interactive markup images are new to HALO 3.5 and an upgrade to 3.5 is required to utilize the new Microglial Activation modules.
